My First Hat-Trick

this article has nothingto do with cricket...its about the most favourite game of any 7-pointer(i dunno about the rest) in IITM...The grand slam.people here genarally agree to disagree..some peoplesay grandslam is defined as bunking an complete session of classes..and the other gumbal says its bunkin the whole day...but i will go with the majority,ie the first gumbal.I basically started puting grandslams from 2nd sem onwards.in the first sem i was too worried about the 75% rule that i ended up with some 95% attendence.n the 3rd sem i became grandslam god by putting one everyweek from the first week itself..but today i have created the record by putting 3 grandslams on a trot...the first one due to arsenal-real,second one due to chelsea-barca,and tha last one for gen reason like i dint hear the alarm and hence woke up at 11...
so i guess you people will get inspired by my story and improve your grand slam abilities as well..

Did u hear US anywhere???its our man, who nukes US through his flamboyant speeches and articles in one of the very few peaceful subjects we have .Few of us know that he had a 100% strike rate during JEE days...and he still is going great guns.he might not be a part of the rg gumbal(he says so,not me...),but that dosent mean he is not a Maggu.He is the moderator in most of the debates in our class(except the US ones).Hail Lord Krishna.

if u go to krish's post u will notice it posted under cruise with navarchs and 2 comments also under that name. inorder to avoid this confusion plz do this.

Of Sea, Sailors, and Pirates

My love for sea has started with reading Classics. They really project a very nice image of life at sea and bring an adventurous sort of image to sea. I still remember Kidnapped, Frankenstein, 20,000 Leagues under the Sea, Moby Dick, Around the world in eighty days, Count of Monte Cristo, some Alistair MacLeans novels, David Copperfield, ... the list goes on. These names bring nostalgia to me. I used to read in a "Ramakrishna Mission Library" which is on the Beach Road. My routine during holidays would be to cycle there in the evening and read there from 4 to 8. At first I started off with abridged ones and later on the unabridged versions. It was a very good library and housed a very nice collection of books. Reading there in the atmosphere filled with the smell and sound of waves would be simply great ( the sea in Vizag is quite close to the road unlike here in Chennai).

And ofcourse, along with these novels the comic that comes to my mind is Tintin. Captain Haddock - what a person! His curses ofcourse - "Billions of blue blistering barnacles, Ten thousand thundering typhoons" how can we ever forget them. Yes, Yes, with all this i will have to mention the pirates in Asterix who make it a point to bring some adventure in the otherwise uneventful sea trips of our Gaul friends and always end up sinking their ship. It is something that makes us laugh eventhough they appear in every journey.

The holy trinity, the magi, for when all three are present great events unfold.

A muggu who will, sorry, has put the elec dept. to shame, a person about whose well being the librarians are worried about.

People capable of completing problems without being given the relevant data...pafu how could you?

Studboy...abilty to talk nonsense for hours and finally come up with something very deep, a budding politician....amma's days are numbered.

Throw in a bunch of rg-max gods....but i must be good here for one of them asked me to write this and well the other when he is not rg-ing is busy on the floor.

Crazy madrasis....one spends more time on the basketball court than with books but then he needs to be in shape for his imminent career change... ;), the other has no hope in that field of work but probably the only one of us who will be placed.

Fiery rajasthanis....one studies only when his ass in on fire another is an aspiring "aviator" macha you are in the wrong dept. and lastly a person about whom i will not write for my lab reports are in the balance.

People capable of reaching a higher altered state, without actually being high based on time alone...his mind is a monkey's, donkey's body who is he?

Beings from the dark abyss that is Bihar, one is a Lalu in the making and another if he was not here then would be first in the queue for liquor that Lalu distributes to his supporters.

No recipe in IIT is complete without gults and for best results throw in a few, including yours truly.

A mallu zimbly has to feature so does the person we all love to hate... the class representative... hey how many times have i told you, one can't be popular if one keeps calling the profs. to the class.

Now so that the world doesn't go over to the dark side have a few sane people whose craziness doesn't extend to class.

Preparation:

Take all these volatile elements and put them in the pressure cooker that is IITM, with a pre-treatment of two years in similar conditions.Add garnishing and serve.

Finally your exotic dish "Nav Arch batch of 2004" is finished.

Serves: 4, wrong, Pains Everybody.

Seriously, I thank God for everyday I am sane.
